1. Sending a notice
Use the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form asks for each element below. A notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- identification of the material on this site and its URL;
- your contact information, including an email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
2. Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the contact form with:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
3. False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
4. Repeat infringers
Best AI Code Security has no user uploads. Should anyone contribute material, we will stop accepting it from a person who repeatedly infringes.
5. Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification, including the sender's details, to the party concerned.
